Bio
I came to this planet 21 years ago. Much longer if you go by dog years. In fact, if I were a dog, I would be one hundred and forty seven years old. Before you start squirming at the shrivelled nature of an oldster, understand that I would have by that point had a long time to conjur up finances, and would be very rich! Although I might have wasted all that time and could be very poor as well. Plus, being a dog is limiting in that department. The richest dog I know is Chobee, the little emo mutt from the Le household, and he is rich in spirit anyway, not rich in riches.

My father was a burgher. And still is, in many respects. Dad swept into Sri Lanka, from Holland, in the 1700s, claiming the country as his own, and oppressing the Singhalese. He got into a small war with Britain years later, over who would get to have more cups of Ceylon tea, and the british won. Dad gave up and decided to work with the british, rather than against them. adopting not only their laws, but there accent. Serves the dutch right, those damn slave mongers. Oh, and through some sort of accident, the Van Dort family became Catholic somewhere down the line, making Viv very proud. I blame the portuguese.

My mother grew up in the country, lurking the streets of Colac til she escaped and came to Melbourne. One day she met my father and accidentally married him, leading to further problems down the line when ten years later I was born. Not to mention my twin sister. And my triplet brother, who came out years later.

I did the noble thing and got married to Rebecca Rose when I was three. We separated soon thereafter but never really managed to properly divorce her. So although I haven't seen her in almost a decade - sorry girls, I'm taken. Forever more I am wed to that damned corpse bride, Rebecca. Like Victor Van Dort was! In the Corpse Bride, a movie about my life, if not times.

Hmm, surely I can divorce her. But how? And everyone in my community will look down on me, like they did Vivian Van Dort before me..,and my parents did seperate in 1994, by the way, and it makes life interesting to this very day.

I have done eductation. Primary School at Glen Huntly, Secondary School at the notorious Salesian College, Chadstone, and finally attained a pro-writing degree at Deakin Uni, Burwood. Now, I guess my time is up. Nothing more. Goodbye everybody, I have to go.
